| Within our care homes we like to emphasise personal independence,
individual choice, privacy, support and security all within a very
warm, friendly, secure and homely environment.
Our residents’ care needs are assessed on an individual basis
and if necessary input will also be sought from community nurses.
We will work with the residents and their families to devise
specially tailored care plans to meet the specific needs of each
individual resident.
We welcome and encourage residents’ involvement in a wide variety
of regular activities and entertainments, organised both within the
care homes and the local community, using our specialist mini-buses.
We also have a range of visiting as well as in-house services, such
as hairdressing, chiropody, beauticians etc.
Each of our care homes has a ‘team’ of qualified carers and team
leaders trained to offer full personal, physical and emotional support
to residents. The staff are led by our registered managers who are
supported by two deputies. All our care team members are qualified
to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or 3.
